How to kick your workday drug habit

How to kick your workday drug habitJILL MacINNES: It’s early morning and you’re already late for work, but you hit Duncan Donuts or Starbucks, anyway. Latte or Frappe and a croissant. By 10 o’clock, you're starting to sag, so you buy a soda and candy bar from the machines -- and SHA-ZAM! Instant buzz…. But you’re just getting started, my junkie friend.

JILL MacINNES: Only 100 miles to better health

JILL MacINNES: Only 100 miles to better healthHave you heard of the 100-Mile Diet? It happens to be a good one, but you need to sustain it to make it work. ASK JILL: To juice or not to juice: That is the question

ASK JILL: To juice or not to juice: That is the questionWhen I began yoga classes last year, my instructor and friend Gina Benkendorf suggested I try juicing as a means of adding more fruit and vegetables to my diet. EILEEN KELLY: Hey, it's a jobI’m on line at Starbucks when the barista shouts “Tea with skim milk at 110 degrees.” What? How did the customer select that temperature? Did she sit there with a thermometer and a cup of tea? “Ooh, too hot.....Nope. Not yet.....Damn. Too cold.” Better yet: How much of a douche bag do you have to be to ask that much of a someone making $7 an hour? This got me thinking about crummy jobs.
