If I am off to Franklin Lakes or Wayne to do makeup for the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," or a shoot with Montel Williams, or an extraordinarily beautiful beach wedding -- like one planned for Long Beach Island this weekend -- I have to make the minutes count when it comes to taking care of me.

My life has become absolutely insane. I'm currently beauty expert/makeup artist for 5 different shows this week alone -- and that's not counting keeping the Gold Coast lovelies beautiful!

Unfortunately, I sometimes need that extra 10 minutes of sleep -- so there goes my beautifying treatment to myself. That is where I take advantage of the commuter time.

It's a matter of priorities. Sometimes working out, or getting that little bit extra sleep, can make all the difference in the world.

However, just in case, I always keep a travel palette with bronzer and eye and brow shadow, tinted moisturizer, lip gloss, mascara and eyeliner.

I especially take advantage of this when doing a wedding. I tend to do my makeup in the car when I arrive at the hotel, just before I walk in.
