Ferry service links JC to Monmouth County

New York Waterway will launch its first Jersey-to-Jersey service with a ferry line between Monmouth County and Jersey City, its founder and president, Arthur Imperatore announced.

"We expect to expand our Belford service to Paulus Hook in Jersey City beginning March 1," Imperatore wrote.

"With no change in our fares, we are adding the Jersey City leg, which will then provide service into Pier 11, from Pier 11 to WFC and [then] on to Paulus Hook, where many of our Monmouth County customers are employed."

"It is our hope that this will not only save the time necessitated to change boats," Imperatore said, "but also to make for an efficient route of travel for our customers employed in the Jersey City commercial zone."
