UPDATE!!! GO TO: “Potential for another Colombine”
THE NEWSBREAK POST THIS MORNING: Authorities pulled out 30 guns — including assault rifles — and a refrigerator full of ammunition last night from the home of a Washington Township resident who they said also had flak jackets and armor-piercing bullets.
The assault weapons were fully loaded and ready to fire, a source close to last night’s raid in the affluent Bergen County township told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
“It was a scary situation,” the source told CLIFFVIEWPILOT.COM, adding that the gun owner has a previous criminal record.
The discovery began with a domestic violence dispute that led to his arrest two weeks ago. He posted bail and was freed on Nov. 23, records show.
